UNIL, together with ESTEE, is currently drafting for Swiss Space Office a Swiss Position Paper on advanced LSS for the national strategy on Advanced Life Support Systems or ALSS (to be available by mid 2019). This is a follow-up activity of the Worskshop on ALSS held on June 12, 2018, in which both institutions participated. The objectives of the Swiss Position Paper are to:
- Show the existence of a significant advanced LSS community in Switzerland
- Show the Swiss interest for international cooperations (B, I, SP, D, F, etc.) in the LSS field
- Highlight the space priority
- Show the challenges of sustainability and space and terrestrial synergies
